Dr_Bashir:
Dr. Julien Bashir is (Or rather, was) the doctor on the station Deep Space Nine on the TV show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the second spin-off of the 60's sci-fi show Star Trek. I chose this nick over six years ago when I first got on an internet chat on Compuserve. I had not chosen a regular nick yet and went into a star trek chat and everyone was taking on the names of star trek characters, Dr Bashir was one of the few that had not been taken and I have always liked this character anyway, so I used it. This nickname stuck for the rest of all eternity, I have not been able to change it yet.
